It’s been a quarter-century…
The Toronto Raptors played their first NBA game in October of 1995. Since that time, they have contested 19 playoff series, 18 against Eastern Conference opponents. You may remember the one against a Western foe, which produced a gaudy ring, a fancy trophy and a parade which shut down Toronto.
However, the Raptors have never faced their Atlantic Division rivals, the Boston Celtics, in the post-season. That peculiar state of affairs ends starting Thursday.
I’m going to consider this series under five banners: Backcourt, Frontcourt, Bench, Coaches, and X-factors. Let’s roll.
